Scotty a long time ago I was stuck by a flood and I drove up into a gas station and stayed there with other drivers waiting for it to go down. A lady there couldn’t wait and she decided to drive in the water and it came up? ½ way up her door. After that there was a debate of how to drive in water. I said you had to step on the brake the whole time to build up pressure and someone else said you didn’t have to do that. If under the gun, how do you drive in deep water?

@moofushu it’s impossible for a car to drive in deep water. like Scotty said in the video, the? engine will suck up the water from the air filter.

Hey Scotty, my dad’s Hyundai? accent(09) was flooded this past fall. He didnt have any engine issues, but the airbag light is on. Assuming the airbag module is under the seat and got flooded, would I be able to simply replace that module to make the light go off?

Scotty; If you had unplugged all submerged electrical conectors and blowen them dry. Removed the computer module blown it dry and soaked it in a solvent then let it dry out do you think it could have saved that Volvo computer and if not then why not? Many say a water submerged cell phone can be? saved this way.
